It consists of a base block, with a separate replaceable cassette that houses the blade, blade holder and spring.
Easy Maintenance – It is only necessary to remove the cassette to change the spring, leaving the block in place. (No base cap is used).
Cost-effective: when worn, the cassette can be replaced at a lower cost than the complete block and spare cassettes can be stocked for minimal downtime.
Compatibility: the S2 design fits most machines* and, as the cassette, blade, spring and holder are the same, it minimizes the storage of spare parts.
