Principle of operation
The material to be shredded is introduced through the upper hopper of the machine. The material in question is then pushed against the cutting rotor by means of a hydraulically controlled pressure device. In addition, the force with which the pressure device acts is regulated according to the current draw of the main motor, thus avoiding overloads in the system. The shredding process is achieved thanks to the action of the cutting rotor and the counter-blade installed at the base of the machine. The material, once crushed, can be extracted by suction, auger or conveyor belt.
