Digital Laser Die Cutting and Creasing Solutions

The Beam 2C die cutter is designed to meet the stringent requirements of the corrugated industry. It offers a crush-free process, is customisable to allow resizing and lightweighting of packaging, and is strong enough to allow products to be shipped in their cartons. It also provides a positive unpacking experience that favours brand owners. Two versions are available: a standard pallet feed configuration and a continuous feed, stacking and waste disposal configuration that can be upgraded in the field. The upgraded Beam 2C offers increased productivity with approximately 15% faster operating speed. When used in conjunction with the optional Beam Writer, the Highcon Beam 2C offers corrugated customers 50% more productivity per shift for typical customer baskets. It also includes the Digital Die Cutting Workflow Package (DWP) for smoother, more efficient and automated integration into a plant’s production workflow. Box compression tests have shown that boxes produced with Highcon’s digital cutting and creasing systems are stronger than those produced with conventional machines.
