The Highcon Euclid 5C digital die cutter and creaser has been specifically designed to meet the needs of packaging converters working in B1 or B2 format for corrugated and ribbed substrates from 1mm to 3mm / 40-120pt. The Highcon Euclid 5C not only saves on die-cutting form production and storage, but also adds the flexibility of digital technology that enables JIT production, short runs, customised perforations with cleaner edges and easier opening, and variable data engraving for personalisation or customisation down to the serial number level. Box compression tests comparing digitally produced boxes with conventional ones have shown that boxes produced with the same substrate on the Euclid are stronger than those produced on conventional machines, allowing for a cost-saving reduction in thickness.
